Double & Triple Silver Low-E Insulated Glass

Glasplex double and triple silver Low-E insulated glass combines two pieces of high-performance Low-E glass with either two or three silver layers. Increasing the number of silver coatings enhances the glass’s ability to block solar heat gain while maintaining excellent visible light transmission. The insulated design further reduces heat transfer and improves acoustic performance, making it ideal for energy-efficient and comfortable indoor environments.

Glass Structure:

6mm float glass + 12A + 6mm Low-E glass

Key Features

Superior Thermal Insulation:
The Low-E coating reflects infrared radiation back indoors during winter, reducing heat loss. In summer, it reflects solar infrared and some visible light, limiting heat ingress. The air-filled hollow layer further reduces thermal conduction, delivering enhanced overall insulation.

Excellent Light Transmission:
Approximately 70% visible light transmittance ensures soft, even indoor illumination, minimising glare and visual discomfort.

Noise Reduction:
The hollow layer effectively blocks high-frequency noise, such as human voices and traffic, improving indoor acoustic comfort.

Typical Applications

Office Building Façades: High-performance insulation with moderate shading coefficient, enhancing energy efficiency and comfort.

Large Curtain Walls in Hotels & Galleries: Provides natural daylighting while controlling glare and reducing heat transmission.
