Bullet-Resistant Glass

Glasplex bullet-resistant glass is a high-security glazing solution composed of multiple layers of tempered glass and polycarbonate (PC). Designed to withstand impacts from firearms and explosive forces, it is widely used in banks, government buildings, military facilities, and other high-security applications.

Glass Structure

Standard Multi-Layer: 5mm tempered glass + 1.52mm PVB + 5mm tempered glass + 3mm PC layer

Enhanced Type: 3 layers of tempered glass + 2 layers of PC, with total thickness exceeding 30mm

Features

Ballistic Performance:
Complies with GA 165–2016 bullet-proof standards, capable of resisting attacks from Type 54 pistols, AK47s, and similar firearms.

Light Transmission:
Maintains ≥75% light transmittance, providing a balance between safety and visibility.

Explosion Resistance:
The PC interlayer absorbs shock waves from blasts, reducing the risk of secondary injuries.

Durability:
Excellent weather resistance and a service life exceeding 10 years, even in harsh environments.
